Polnasac & Hanging Rock Caves

Ray finished work early, arrived back at the Hub, and Nathaniel was there so we decided to take a small trip over to look at Polnasac, where there was a landslide after the floods in July 2025 to see if we could still get in.

So the main aim for the trip was to look at and access the sump in Polnasac and the Pool in Hanging Rock Cave.

A rift was looked at to the left, which I couldn't fit comfortably, but Nathaniel could.

He explored high and low up there.

With some prospect ,we will return, I may dig a little to fit.

Another high-level climb was looked at, but we avoided ourselves in doing this.

On the way home, we looked at Cascades , and it doesn't look all that bad really, with some small work and propping the bank behind this can be reopened.
