Midnight Sump Boats

(Midnight sump in Boats Cave)

Met at the Hub, got gear together and headed up the parking for boats.

Team work down the chokes with the bags until we reached the first lake, Ray donned the dive kit here.

At the entrance of the sump, tied the line to a natural, final checks and off I went, Vis was good at this point til i met the line, where I joined my line, which I cut and left in place.

On It went into a very low level point and explored it up wards.

I also explored further to the left and right areas.

To the left side went into a slit filled area and also went 2m high to a dead end. The left also a dead end area.

Should be more sump around here but I'm afraid it would require effort in a dig.

Not sure if I want to revisit this sump!

Dive was 20min in total at around 6/7m max.

The other two weren't back yet , so I started my way out with the bags and met them on the last return run.
